Celebrating the great history, tradition, and idiosyncrasies that make the state of California great, and the city of Los Angeles extraordinary; FRESH FROM CALIFORNIA is a lifestyle brand and creative studio led by graphic designer Albert Patterson.
Born in South L.A. and raised in West L.A. and parts of the Inland Empire, Albert grew up playing with action figures, collecting basketball cards, and drawing comic book characters. However, early dreams of being a karate instructor, NBA superstar, and/or architect dissolved by the end of high school. Mildly distraught but highly motivated, Albert studied graphic design at California State University, Long Beach, receiving his B.A. Albert has over 15 years of design experience. As an “ideas man,” he is a highly conceptual thinker who is an expert at branding and using fresh ideas as design solutions to amplify small businesses.
In his free time, Albert enjoys riding bikes with his family, fantasy football, fish tacos, warm weather, and avocados.
